A new book is on the way that promises to help people regain some of their mobility, and feel younger than they currently do. Many people are severely limited in their mobility, either in specific joints or in terms of overall ability to move around, because of reversible factors. As age increases, people’s bodies gradually tighten up, affecting movement ability and overall quality of life. The loss of this movement ability over the course of a lifetime can have very profound effects on the quality of life of the individual. A plethora of different books are on the market aimed at showing people how to become more active, but there are only a few that focus on undoing the detrimental effects of all that activity. There are even fewer aimed towards people of middle or older age. This new self-help guide, entitled Moballise, will encompass all of these elements, filling a gap within the current market. It is being financed via the crowdfunding platform Crowdfunder.
It is the brainchild of physiotherapist and trainer Kristian Spoors, who developed the ideas that it encompasses based upon direct experience with patients and clients.
